Obed 1.3
by Steven Schuleter

(364Kb in .ZIP format)
I never thought I'd see it, but fortunately someone has proven me wrong. Obed is the first and only map editor available for M2 Windows. Version 1.3 now has better Aleph One compatibility. Orbital Arm provides no support for it; we're just now learning how to use it. However, you may find answers to some of your questions on using Obed in the Obed FAQ, provided by the 10/5 Mapmakers Group. The link to the Obed FAQ appears to be dead. It will be fixed if and when a new Obed FAQ page is up and running.
M2 Shaper
by Steven Schuleter

(940Kb in .ZIP format)
If you want to change the textures and landscapes in the Win95 PC-version of Marathon 2, M2 Shaper is the only game in town.  It allows you to load the textures from your original Marathon 2 shapes file and save them as bitmaps that you can use in your favorite graphics editing program.  Version 1.3 has improved color-matching for your imported images.
M2 NDZ
by Steven Schuleter

(8Kb in .ZIP format)
M2 NDZ is another M2 file from Steven Schuleter. This one is a patcher for the application that causes it to ignore "divide-by-zero" errors. It comes in handy if you're trying to play an older Marathon file created on a Macintosh. Be sure to turn off the "Read Only" in the Marathon 2 application's File Properties first, or you may experience frustration.
Aleph One PhysicsEditor
by HogePiyo

(2790Kb in .ZIP format)
This program is made for Aleph One, an open-source game engine for Marathon (a FPS game produced by Bungie in the mid-1990s).
With this, you can create, modify, or change physics models.
Physics Models change monster and weapon behaviors, and so on.

NOTE: Alpha version currently only supports 1024x768 screen size.

PortMaster
from Bungie Software

(33Kb in StuffIt format)
PortMaster is a utility from Bungie Software which we will be using extensively in our attempts to port Marathon scenarios to M2. PortMaster moves custom images, such as terminal pictures, into the actual data area so that M2 can use it. However, it does not port custom textures, and in many cases it does not port images properly. Still, it's an invaluable tool for map conversion.
M2 Cheat
by Simon Brownlee

(15Kb in .ZIP format)
M2 Cheat is a simple save game editor for M2/Win. It is DOS based, but runs fine in Windows 95 by dropping a saved game file onto it, and then editing it. Useful for debugging and testing scenarios and maps in M2/Win.
Marathon Screensaver
from Orbital Arm Team

(16358Kb in .ZIP format)
The Marathon Universe Screensaver (with Readme and original Marathon MIDIs, followed by Trojan MIDIs, played in the same order as in their original games).  A version with random music playback (so you wont have to wait an hour just to hear the Trojan MIDI tracks) is also available.
