A very, very difficult eight-level scenario, which actually has only six complete levels. Very challenging. Read the full review. |

An 8-level solo scenario, 5 net maps, and a passel of physics models. This is a truly impressive piece of work, with very well-crafted levels, fantastic term and chapter art, and a load of cool features. It is also the first scenario specifically designed for cooperative play. In fact, it's so well-suited to coop play that it's extremely difficult as a solo map. (You may have to drop one or more difficulty levels off your normal play style in order to finish it, and you'll be cursing the low number of save terms, which wouldn't bother you at all in coop play.) |

A large 5 level solo adventure that are quite large. All of the maps are large compared to most and they have enough sprites in them that they will keep you busy for some time. I got through on Normal, but it took some time. You will need to explore EVERY area, backtrack some of your steps and flip all the switches. These levels are hard, but not unplayable. The story line makes sense along with some good art work. These were made with Pfhorte and then merged with Forge. Worth the download and definitely worth your time. Some neat tricks and some great construction. |
Species V1.1 by Tony Smith Claude Errera Ben Potter (1978Kb in .ZIP format) |
An absolutely beautiful scenario originally created as separate maps by Tony Smith. Ben Potter and Claude Errera combined the separate maps, tied the original storyline together, and added a final level to make the scenario complete. It should test your vidmaster skills quite well. |

Escape is a 7 level scenario set after the events depicted in Marathon 2. Featuring large, complex maps and a detailed storyline, this one will keep you busy for hours. The map design is impressive, with huge, twisting, complex levels. The puzzles are difficult, yet not frustrating; exploration keeps the player from frustration, and there is always something new to see. The levels are filled with scenery and visual ambiance. A must have! |

Finally, the first beta of Siege of Nor'Korh has been released and it's fantastic! Once again, special special thanks to Claude Errera of the Archives for his work porting this scenario. This six-level scenario was one of the first scenarios for Marathon 2, and it's still considered one of the best. It was later updated for Marathon Infinity. We may re-port that version later, since we are allowed to use the Infinity textures. For now, download this one, and enjoy! |

Thanks to Claude Errera of the Archives for porting this scenario. This scenario has been available for Macintosh for some time now; this port marks the first appearance of DiaBD on Windows. This is the second beta release of DiaBD for Windows; it fixes problems with terminal pictures. DiaBD casts familiar characters in new roles... you could say it effectively redefines the Marathon universe. |

Claude Errera of Bungie.org: "A fun 12 level Win95 scenario built using Stephen's excellent Marathon 2 Map Editor for PC. The first levels consist of various training exercises at the academy - there's some quite clever puzzles here, such as shooting ranges and obstacle courses, which keep you coming back to try again and again. Also works to a certain extent in the Mac version of Marathon if you want to test it out, although some of the levels will cause Mac Marathon to crash due to the too many transparent sides problem (the Win95 version does not appear to suffer from this)." |

Description from The Archives -
When people talk of "Total Conversions" of the Marathon universe, Trojan is one of the names that should come up first. Trojan is a complete replacement for the Marathon package. Think of it as an action game that happens to use the Marathon engine. The artwork is superb, the new weapons are awesome, the baddies are frightening... and the full package is a whole new animal. Twenty-five levels of pulse-pounding excitement... don't pass it up. The only thing missing in the Trojan M2 port is the music. But you can enjoy the music separately in these Trojan MP3 files (100.9MB). They are converted from their original MIDIs using WinAmp's DiskWrite plugin and a Creative SoundBlaster AWE32. The MP3 quality is a testament to the unmatched MIDI reproduction capabilities of this venerable sound card. |
